Meeting with MINTUR to promote the rights of Girls, Children and Adolescents in Travel and Tourism.
The Buenos Aires Tourist Ombudsman met today virtually with officials of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, with the aim of discussing the National Code of Conduct for the Protection of the Rights of Girls, Children and Adolescents in Travel and Tourism, and to achieve greater adherence to it by other public and private entities.
Both organizations discussed how to promote the Code, summoning the different actors to achieve their adherence. In that sense, Defenders of different destinations in the country that have not yet signed it will be invited to do so through various activities, work tables and a virtual conversation.
Likewise, It was discussed how the work and the joint interaction between the different public bodies are outlined in order to urge tourism service providers to join the National Code of Conduct, providing them with the necessary tools for their commitment.
