The Tourist Ombudsman working together with the Argentine Chamber of Tourism.

The Tourist Ombudsman of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires met on Wednesday virtually with the authorities of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT), in order to present the Buenos Aires body, promote the creation of a direct channel of communication between both institutions and promote joint activities.

The CAT participated in the meeting, Aldo Elías, President; Eleonora Buono, general manager; Diego Plottier, Innovation and Development manager; Ludmila Vazquez, assistant; and Ezequiel Vázquez, attorney. On behalf of the Buenos Aires Tourist Ombudsman, Dr.. Cintia Bruno, Director of the Executive Direction of the Rights of the Tourist; and the advisers in law and tourism, Dra. Florencia Dadic, Dra. Mercedes Adrogué, Lic. Cindy Barnoin y Tec. Giselle Negri.

At the start of the meeting, the Tourist Ombudsman team presented their work, and explained the advisory mechanisms and guidelines on tourism and protection of tourists' rights. Además, emphasis was placed on complaints received on a daily basis, the case resolution process, and the mode of attention and containment to the tourist in the event of any eventuality.

On the other hand, all participants agreed on the need to have a direct communication channel for the interaction of both institutions, taking into account that the CAT brings together the different tourism associations.

In consecuense, it was agreed to organize a series of activities to achieve greater visualization and mutual participation, that is useful to defend the interests of the activity and the rights of the tourist. This will contribute to the recognition and presence of the Tourist Ombudsman in the City, to make it a useful tool for all those associated with CAT.
