The Ombudsman de Bariloche close to having the Tourist Ombudsman
Following the agreement signed by the Ombudsman of Bariloche and the Ombudsman of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the Tourist Ombudsman of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires traveled to San Carlos de Bariloche with the aim of sharing the experiences of the City of Buenos Aires on this subject and methodology of work being done by the institution ago 11 years.
The Tourist Ombudsman de Bariloche operate under the aegis of the Ombudsman of the city and will be consolidated under the principles of defense of rights and guarantees of tourists who visit them and provide advice, care and counseling against any kind of queries or problems arising.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the relevant trainings were conducted by Mr. Daniel Minbielle, Rights at the Institute of Tourism of the Public Defender's porteña Pueblo and Lic. Maite Rodríguez, team member porteña the Public Defender Tourist, the Ombudsman de Bariloche, municipal departments and chambers and associations related to tourism (The Ministry of Tourism and Production, the Municipal Office of Information and Defense of User and Consumer (OMIDUC) and other units), and professional associations and chambers linked to the local tourism sector.
The training modules included: sustainable and responsible tourism, accessibility, protection of the rights of children and adolescents, specific target (young tourism, LGBT, sports), tourism security, relationship between residents and tourists, and collaboration between the public and private sectors.
To conclude the meeting was convened at a press conference in which participated: Daniel González, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Environment Bariloche; Beatriz Oñate, Ombudswoman de Bariloche; Gustavo Genusso, Mayor of Bariloche; Daniel Minbielle, Rights at the Institute of Tourism of the Public Defender's porteña Tourist and Marcos Barberis, Secretary of Tourism of Bariloche.
