Management report 2015 on the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children, And Adolescents
Now available the Management Report 2015 on the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children, And Adolescents in Travel and Tourism Tourist Ombudsman Porteña.
As an adherent members to the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children, And Adolescents in Travel and Tourism, the Tourist Ombudsman of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires made the presentation of the Management Report 2015 at the International Book Fair. José Palmiotti, Deputy Ombudsman defender tourist along with Silvina Bacchiega, legal adviser to the institution,and his team are responsible for the assembly of this publicación.Tanto the Ombudsman and his team explained that the actions taken by the Tourist Ombudsman of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in the year are described in this report, like the interaction with the different sectors of the system,they complemented and reinforced the commitment made by the Ombudsman to adhere to the Code.
From the 2010 the Tourist Ombudsman cooperate in the dissemination and application of the principles listed by the Code for the Protection of the Rights of Girls, Children and Adolescents in Travel and Tourism for the prevention of sexual exploitation, labor and trafficking, through a program of action aimed at raising awareness in their scope compromising the devices necessary for its implementation and monitor their effective implementation. This is part of the parameters of institutional responsibility and seeks the support of the private sector to achieve a tourist destination severally liable.
During the 2015 the institution participated in national and international forums, assemblies, conferences and seminars conducted by the Association of Ombudsmen of Argentina (ADPRA), the Latin American Institute of Ombudsman (ILO), the Iberoamerican Federation of Ombudsman (FIO) and the World Tourism Organization (IN ORDER TO) with the aim of adding them to this initiative and join forces to carry out training, awareness campaigns on the rights of tourists, awareness and everything that makes the protection of children.
